In its anniversary year 2024, the German Biobank Node (GBN) is publishing a video series in which representatives of biobanks and other supporters and partners have their say, congratulate and look back on activities and successes.

In the eighth and final video of the anniversary series, members of the Steering Committee express their wishes for the future. GBN board spokesperson PD Dr. Sara Nußbeck, for example, wishes "that the good cohesion of the community and the dialogue just continues". Board member PD Dr. Dr. Michael Kiehntopf looks ahead: "A key challenge for the next few years is to ensure that the overall agility of the network improves and that we can respond more quickly to sample requests."
